I can 100% recommended Lavinia for any style of makeup artistry. My experience was bridal for me and my maids. From trials to the day itself her professionalism and experience were beyond my expectations. Being an extremely fussy, indecisive, perfectionist the decision to even let anyone else do my make up was difficult. For my first trial I showed Lavinia a picture, she replicated it exactly. However, I decided I didn’t like the look for my wedding day. Luckily it was my hen so it wasn’t wasted and was perfect for that occasion. I had a second trial in which we experimented 2 different eye looks. I explained to Lavinia the parts I liked and those I didn’t and she assured me she’d got it. On the day itself I couldn’t believe how perfect my makeup was. I was slightly nervous to try looks we hadn’t done in the previous trials but Lavinia assured me she’d “listened” and knew what to do. I can’t stress how important this skill is. It would be so easy for an artist to do what they think looks good, or what they’re most comfortable producing. To actually listen to what your customer wants (even when instructions, pictures and ideas are fragmented, jumbled and unclear) is a skill in itself. I’m so pleased I put my faith in her!!
